Paleo Cooking II
The crockpot has definitely turned out to be a winner, as far as cooking. It's very ease to use, and I have been putting it to good use. You just load in some vegetables and meat, add in some liquid, and turn the switch.
The picture above is a simple Paleo dinner of chicken, carrots, yams, lettuce, and some spices. It took just a few minutes of prep time and produced a great meal.

Was this cooked using the high or low setting? How many hours cooking time?

It took about five hours on high. From what I've read, high is twice is fast as low - 2 hours at low equals 1 hour at high.
It may be better health-wise to cook at the low temp, I'm not sure. But this particular day, I got a late start and cooked it at high.

Low and high temps may be the same healthwise. The issue is using dry heat vs. cooking with water, which limits the temperature to 212 degrees F.
