Celebrity Sightings

The Billboard Music Awards were tonight here in Vegas, and we got tickets to a special VIP after-party at Studio 54 in the MGM Grand.  It was a strange experience, walking down a short red carpet lined with people into the club.  Once inside however, the mirage disappeared.  Most of the people were non-celebrities like us hoping to spot a celebrity. 

The only quasi-celebrities we saw were the recent winners of Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance" reality show.  We briefly talked to them, though they didn't seem too interested.  The rest of the celebrities were shuttled back to a private room away from the crowd.  Vegas is good at these tricks.  Yes, the celebrities come to the high-end nightclubs, but they usually are sequestered in VIP rooms.
