Writing Versus Typing

One more aftershock from Frank Forencich's presentation was about unifying mind and body in action.  This got me to thinking – is handwriting somehow better for you than typing?

Lo and behold, the subject has been researched, and yes, handwriting leads to better learning and some other benefits.

Interesting!  I should try writing a blog post by hand and then have software translate it into typed words.

One Response to Writing Versus Typing

  1. I noticed that I write differently when in front of a computer. My ‘editor’ is always on when typing. I also think more analytically when typing. Handwriting is so much better for conveying feelings.

Too bad I can barely read my own handwriting. It’s why I kept up on typing.
