I thought Frank Forencich gave the most provocative presentation of the whole weekend. In fact, I am still digesting some of it. His talk focused on how humans are "built" for face-to-face communication within a small band of people. He focused on the philosophy of ubuntu, which is "that a person is a person through other people".
I thought Frank really pushed the envelope of what it means to be a "Paleo person", and I'm not sure I fully agree. But that's good! I'm all in favor of trying to get things right, and maybe he is correct about these things.
I checked out some of the references he mentioned in his talk, and they all seemed solid. More to come on this…

This concept seems to be getting more play in the Paleo community. I’m intrigued. I have found myself most productive and happy when I am part of these types of social groups. Looking forward to your thoughts.
‘Meeting Frank at AHS11 was a great treat. His work is amazing; I hope he continues to inform and enlighten.
